About Us

Hi there! I’m Kaylie Campbell, a proud first-generation rancher from Chillicothe, Missouri. With a deep love for animals and a strong desire to serve people, I founded HighBar K Livestock to turn my lifelong passion into something meaningful.

Our Journey

HighBar K Livestock began as a childhood dream. Growing up on a small family row crop farm with no cows or horses, my 7th birthday marked a turning point when I received my first horse. That gift ignited a passion within me that I’ve nurtured ever since. By the age of 11, I teamed up with my uncle to buy my first black Angus heifer. She remains a cherished member of our herd, surrounded by her red Angus companions.

After high school, I pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science at Kansas State University (Go Cats!). Although I wasn’t sure where my path would lead, an incredible opportunity arose in the spring of 2021: I purchased a registered Red Angus fall calving herd. This was a dream come true and a significant step in my journey.

While at college, I left my colts and mares behind, but returning home allowed me to continue working with them. I specialize in young, started, or even unstarted colts, helping them develop into well-trained horses. My Momma Mare has been instrumental in producing the high-quality Quarter Horses that we proudly offer today.

Looking Ahead

As I continue to grow HighBar K Livestock, my future goals include expanding our herd and specializing in selling replacement heifers. By focusing on breeding and providing high-quality heifers, I aim to support fellow ranchers and contribute to the industry’s growth. Each step forward is driven by a commitment to excellence and a passion for the work I do.

Exploring Tallow

My journey into tallow products began with a personal quest for effective skincare. Struggling with sensitive skin, I invested in countless products that never quite met my needs. Driven by a desire to find a better solution, I delved into the benefits of beef tallow and decided to make my own.

At HighBar K Livestock, all our tallow products are crafted from the fat of our own livestock or from trusted local ranchers. This ensures that each product is not only high quality but also supports our commitment to sustainability and transparency. We use beef tallow sourced directly from our herd, which means you’re getting a product that reflects the care and attention we put into raising our animals.

After experimenting and refining my recipes, I’m proud to offer a range of tallow products that are both nourishing and effective. Each product embodies the dedication and love we have for our livestock, and we’re excited to share these benefits with you.
